John’s passions for discipleship, teaching, coaching, counseling and writing are so inextricably interwoven that it’s hard to tell where one stops and the next starts. Sincere prayer, a genuine love for people, wise questions, keen discernment, more graduate counseling courses than he can recall, and decades of exploring the intersection of Scripture and everyday life uniquely equip John to serve others.
An ordained pastor since 1992, John has served as a Youth Pastor, Pastor of Administration, Assimilation & Singles, and a Senior Pastor. John has led Priority Insight, a ministry focused on developing Christ-centered workplace leaders, since January 2000. John is a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors.
